missjudecie asked: What inspires you? Like, how did you get such an imagination?
Other artists inspires me. Artists that creates a whole new different world, something no one else could do. When I see that, it opens my mind to how far the imagination could go. Check out Greg “Craola” Simkins, he’s one of my favorite artists, and also Shohei Otomo is awesome. And my imagination is made up of everything that I like: childhood cartoons, japanese art, nature, graffiti, some tattoo art, etc. But the key to my creativity is that I NEVER THINK about what I’m about to draw or about what I want to draw. I have to be totally empty, calm, and relaxed, then whatever comes up at the moment, I start inking it down, and that first thing that I draw acts like a seed. Because from there it grows into whatever I feel at the moment. So it could be anything. And most of the time I’ve noticed about myself, I start with an eyeball for some reason. Could be because it is the window to the soul, since I am always creating from the unconscious, the end result of my works seems like a dream.
I hope that helps :B
